Slow Cooker Quiche
Ingredients
- 2 pre-made pie crusts
- 9 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- 1 cup ham, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper
- Chopped chives
Steps
- Lay the 2 pie crusts on a long sheet of parchment paper; press overlapping edges together to seal.
- Place into slow cooker; press the edges against the side of the slow cooker.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Stir in bell pepper, onion, ham and cheese.
- Pour the egg mix into the slow cooker. Place a clean kitchen towel over the slow cooker and cover with the lid. Cook on high for 3-4 hours.
- Lift quiche out of the slow cooker and cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
